Founded in 2000, eharmony is a well-known name in the dating industry, but it’s also known for its affordability (a basic membership is 100% free), ingenuity (the one-of-a-kind 32 Dimensions of Compatibility Quiz), and simplicity (the site does all the searching for you). Well, right now, Hinge is the best dating site. It seems to fit my personality, or the personalities I find online. I like that the sign-up process takes 10 minutes, and that I can keep an eye on what the profiles of people are. If I was more like Digg, and wanted to check out all the profiles I could find, I wouldn’t be so overwhelmed.

Totally Free Legit Black Hook-up /dating Websites: In Chicago Area

Said he was an Oil rig engineer on his last job. Would retire afterwards. Was looking for a serious relationship.
I'm a widow and I was easy prey. Seemed to be a gift from heaven, everything went fine, we had the same ideas, hobbies etc. He send gifs with hearts, roses, the same old story, simply that this had never happened to me in all my life. So I was head over heels for him. Said he was half Italian, half American, grew up in the US after the death of his parents.
Has been working around the world. Never at home, always alone. Asked a lot of questions, honestly, I believed him and answered them. So his answers were more or less the same, making me believe that we were meant for each other. Sent beautiful songs with lovely lyrics. Wrote in the morning, before starting his workday, in the evening when finishing his workday and before going to bed.
During 5 Weeks I'm no English native speaker, but I'm a translator and I realized that his English had a lot of errors and typos. But I thought, that he was exhausted after a long day and engineers often don't write too well (I know that from the manuals I translate).
I insisted to see him on Skype. The supposed office was completely dark, I could see nothing but him, he looked similar to the photos, but never looked straight into the camera, I could only see his profile. Then suddenly he came up with the story that the drilling machine had broken and that he needed to buy a component.
That's when I knew that this was an attempt at fraud taken right out of a manual about internet frauds (which I also have translated a lot of). So I started to give him a lot of good advice, one after the other, and started to ask about that machine, wanted model, serial number and so on (I'm a technical translator, so I do understand about this stuff).
He didn't want to give me this info but just went on begging for the money. Said he tried to make a bank transfer and that the bank blocked his account, and even sent me a screenshot of what is supposed to be his account. I kept on telling him that I couldn't give him any money (and he never saw a penny from me).
That's when he started sending emoticons (those which are crying sadly - honestly, which adult person in a really desperate situation will send these stupid emoticons?). And he begged me he didn't want to go to jail for contract breach. I told him, that this was illegal and that the company he hired the machine from, should change the worn component and that he should get a good lawyer.
Then I asked him to go on Skype again: First it didn't work, it worked only when he called me. Same scene: Everything around him was dark. The camera is somewhere above his head so I could see him only from above and his profile, while he seems to be looking onto a monitor and typing something. Exactly the same scene as the first time. Seems to be a recorded video which they are playing in an endless loop.
He also sent his location (middle of the North Sea). He doesn't look like the guy on the photos and I really would like to know who the guy and the girl on those photos are, to warn them. I told him right away that this was a scam and luckily he never contacted me again.
But those guys (often organized groups, not just one guy, who are behind this) know exactly where to hit us, especially when you're widow.
He's on Tinder, and says his name is Robert Duncan, living in NY, right now working in Aberdeen on an oil rig 480 km off the coast.
